According to James Skelly, who is writing the authenticity manual for 1971 to 1978 Eldorados, there were a total of 1999 Eldorado Biarritz's produced in 1977, less than 200 equipped with Fuel Injection.
I have been driving and collecting Cadillacs for over 30 years. I have owned many nice cars. This one, is an exceptional car, and it is in absolutely beautiful original condition. Normally, cars on ebay look better in photos than they do in person. This car is the opposite. You cannot appreciate the way this car looks, rides, runs, and the way the interior still retains the 1977 Cadillac aroma of new leather. You will have absolutely no regrets with this car, it is that nice. Take a look at the special Biarritz Chrome and Top. Let's take a tour of this car, inside and out... Take this car to any Cadillac Club meet or show, and start bringing home trophies.
All Chrome is pit free, no imperfections. The hood trim is stainless, as is the trim around the base of the roof, but the door trim, and the section under the quarter window are die-cast with a satin finished chrome. Normally these parts are very pitted, but not on this car. Please view the Driver's side above, and the passenger side below...
Please note that digital images sometimes show strange lines when photographing straight lines such as chrome trim or pin stripes. If any of these images show up as slightly distorted, that is why. These moldings are straight, and perfect.
Moving to the roof of the car, this is the original top as it left the factory, in fantastic condition, not dried out, or split, just soft supple vinyl.
The interior of the car is 100% original, and must be seen, and sat in to appreciate. The leather is soft and comfortable, just like the way the car appeared in the showroom in 1977. The carpet is just like new, No worn areas, no holes, just perfect.
No cracks or tears or worn spots in the leather, no cracks in the dash, anywhere, no splits or cracks in the door panels, needs absolutely nothing.
An original set of color keyed, factory original red carpeted floor mats in excellent condition are also included, but not shown.
AM-FM- 8-Track works perfectly, sounds great, antenna works 100%
Once again, the interior of this car need nothing done to it at all.
Mirror-like Original Chrome
There's a Fuel Injected 425 with only 45,000 miles on it in there...

|ELDORADO - SERIES 6E|
Unlike the other full-size Caddies, Eldorado continued in its previous form (and elephantine size). A brushed chrome molding reached across the new coordinated horizontal-style grille and headlamps. This year's grille pattern featured more thin vertical bars than before and stood on a line with the headlamp tops. Individual "Eldorado" block letters sat on the hood front, above the grille. Rear fenders held new rectangular side marker lamps, while new vertical taillamps formed into the bumper tips. Power four-wheel disc brakes had cooling fins. In the modified automatic climate control, the compressor ran only when needed. The $1760 Biarritz option (introduced during the 1976 model year) included a special fully-padded Elk Grain cabriolet roof, formal quarter and rear windows with French seams, and opera lamps. A matching vinyl insert accented the aluminum crossover roof molding. Stripes highlighted front fenders, doors and rear quarter panels. A script nameplate stood to the rear of quarter windows. Black-accented moldings ran from the hood front all the way back and around the roof. Sierra Grain leather covered contoured pillow seats.
